There has been alot of planning and preparation for the reunion which should interest everyone. People can meet and greet, eat lunch, share photographs, look at displayed items, and walk through the cemetary, etc. We would like you to bring lawn chairs if you can.
A mailing which included the Wade Family Reunion flyer, a lunch buffet form, and a map with notes on the back regarding the church service and the community center was sent out on March 30, 2009. We need the lunch forms returned by May 4, 2009, so we can plan the seating arrangements.

Just FYI, I received Eula Mae (Wade) & Charles Peavyhouse's RSVP in the mail today. So as of this evening, we have 29 people attending the reunion that I'm aware of.
ReplyDeleteNumber attending is now up to 33 today, as I received (email) word from Sue & Debbie Frye, as well as Bob & Marti Wright (TX) they would be attending!
ReplyDeleteOne note, I revised the name of the database from "Silas Wade Descendents" to "Silas Wade Descendants" (i.e. spelled with an a vs. e) simply because I got tired of online spell-checking always thinking it was wrong, even though it wasn't. ha, ha
I have created a photo-sharing room online and will be scanning in some pictures of Silas and relatives later on. Everyone will have access to them and can even order photographs online if they wish then pick them up at your local Walgreens store! Stay tuned for more on this later!
